Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Say, anyone out there have a source for flag stickers of all the countries in Africa? Preferably a set? I'm thinking small stickers-scrapbook size-not bumper stickers

Thanks!

I'm sorry, you're misspelling really had me curious -- I guess cuz I was born and raised in San Francisco!

I have to say I did a double-take, too...I thought it was a spammer!

Anyway, to answer your question...Usborne sells a flag sticker atlas...

Hope that helps.

Oh Kelly.
I so needed your post tonight. Thank you! I just got off the phone with a very difficult person and I was in a bad mood, until I saw this.

This is probably not exactly what you are looking for, but I found this link:

Thanks for the laugh, Kelly and Mary. I'll admit that I clicked on this topic because I was intrigued to learn that there must be a meaning of the word "fag" that I hadn't previously been aware of.

Oh, you all, that's what happens when I post when I'm really fagged...er...TIRED, that is! (Seriously, that's what they used to say in Ireland to indicate great fatigue!) Anyway, what a typo! Sorry 'bout that, ladies (though I'm still laughing in chagrin )

PS And thanks for the sticker resources!

Yep, it sometimes has that meaning here too ... but the most common meaning is colloquial for cigarette. I dread to think how many times asking for a fag has caused a crisis in Anglo-American relations.
