Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Michaela,

Thank you for sharing your Memorial Day lapbook and all the additional information. We have just recently started our first lapbook with the topic being frogs. This gives me ideas for the frog lapbook and encouragement to try other topics.

Welcome to the boards, Theresa.
Thank you for your kind words.

A frog theme would be a great lapbook.
Oh, the possibilities......

If you decide to share what you did, I would enjoy reading about it.

Michaela,
Your lapbook is FANTASTIC!!

I am bookmarking your blog so we can reference it when we're ready to give a "Memorial Day Lapbook" a try (not for a few more years, I think) .

I'm only on my second lapbook ever (we're making one for a Goodnight Moon unit study), and am totally inspired by yours, to do more lapbooking. Your kids will never forget what they've learned, I'm sure. So how many have you done? And how long does it take to pull a lapbook like yours together with older kids? (Mine are still so little that all the prep work and follow-through is mine to do)...Do you still have to invest a lot of time with older kids, or have you been doing this long enough that your kids just jump right in and take over?

Way to go!

Michaela I am so impressed! Your children must have learned so much from that study! Absolutely wonderful!
