Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Dear May,
our kids are almost exactly the same age (7, 4 1/2). I am not sure what you mean by keeping them occupied while working with them. Do you mean hands busy or switching back and forth between them?

My dd-4 adores the Kumon workbooks--esp. cutting and folding. They are very bright and have fun pictures. That is her "school" most of time. She will cut anything for hours! Kumon also has wkbks for tracing, letters, numbers and mazes, for slightly older kids.   You can get these from Amazon. (They are much better than the Golden workbooks.)

They also love sculpey, which can be pricey but again, the time spent on it makes it worth it. A cheaper option is to make some salt dough. One day they make it, and when its dry, they can paint it with watercolors.

There are lots of free coloring pages on the internet. Usually themed, so you can find something related to what you are working on.

HTH,
CK
