Try this - except take out space after bracket and before URL. I left the space so you could see the text (otherwise it would have turned to a hyperlink to your blog already.

-and add the name of your blog (or how you want the test to appear) where I have "name of your blog."

[ URL=http://ourlifeinthemidwest.blogspot.com]name of your blog[/URL]
