Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi!
I had my 13 yr old Computer Whiz install this for me...overall I'm liking it, but on this message board after each post there is a huge avatar picture (Bridget's Mary holding baby Jesus, I think). Do you have any familiarity with this browser? Or know how I can fix it?
Thanks!
Angela

Angela-

I am viewing the forum with Firefox now and am not seeing the behavior you are describing. Does it happen on EVERY thread you view or just on particular ones? If the latter, please reply with the forum and topic so I can try to reproduce the problem.

Thanks-
Tim

Hi Tim,
So far it's happening on every post in any thread I've tried. I opened the board in IE to double check...it's in the little section at the bottom of every post that has the icons for private messenger, etc.

Is there some setting that needs adjusted? I'm clueless...oh this is weird - I just clicked on the "more" link for Emoticons and there's another, not so big, but still big avatar...this time it's Alice!!

In IE, everything is fine. Hmmm.

Hmm...does the "lost avatar" appear to the left of the "profile" button under each post? Or at the end of that group of buttons/images?

I can't figure out what is causing this. What version of Firefox are you running? You should be able to find out by clicking on About Mozilla Firefox in the Help menu.

The avatar appears somewhere in the middle of those. Sometimes it's the last thing, sometimes there's a button after it. And it's four or five inches high, or I wouldn't bother with it!

I have version 1.0.6. Oh, something else I've notice is this cursor line flickers, unlike in IE.

Grr. I have 1.0.6 installed as well.

Maybe this will help me figure out what is going on: using any page where this problem is occurring, select "Page Source" on the "View" menu in Firefox, then (in the new window that opens) select "Save Page As" from the "File" menu. Change the extension on the filename to .txt and save it to your hard drive, then attach that file to an e-mail message and send it to me at .

I will let you know if I can figure it out.
