The kids and I have been making Sacred Heart Chaplets to give to our friends for Valentine's Day. And I secretly made each child a "tenner" of their own and will be at his or her place when we sit down to tea.

Bumping this since I missed it the first time. Others may have too.
My kids have been sick and we haven't done anything fun for a while. I want to make St. Valentine's Day special this year.

This all looks so cool. We're having a priest over for lunch that day and I think he will really get a kick out of the Catacomb cake.
Someone mentioned Alice's Guadalupe roses. Where can I find those?

My daughter and I just made this St. Valentine's Day craft this morning. Find a styrofoam heart shaped wreath. With a glue gun, glue the large size "conversation candy hearts" all over to cover the styrofoam. Add a wire to the back for hanging. Makes a great wreath for the front door and it is so colorful! I love ours! I should mention that I had a hard time finding a decent size styrofoam heart at our local craft store and ended up ordering mine (15 in) online. My daughter also had the idea of also covering smaller styrofoam hearts with the conversation candy hearts for decorations as well. What fun!

I may as well ask you dear mothers for prayers while we are discussing this. After years of dreaming, I am finally compiling my Liturgical Tea menus into a book!
