Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

CHC has a newish book called Heroes of Grace that looks beautiful:
Heroes of Grace

It includes saints bios, feast days, virtues and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
It even has the O, Antiphons! It's paced to follow the school year, and the pictures look great.

I ordered a copy after seeing the sample pages... looks really good

I bought a copy last year.   It's been a very useful addition to our morning time.

Oh- I am glad to hear that. I have been looking for something new for our morning time... we have been using our regular Catholic/prayer books (the same ones) for a few years now, and I wanted a fresh take.

Got my copy-

It is so beautifully illustrated! I opened it to the Feast of the Holy Face of Jesus, which is celebrated Shrove Tuesday, which is coming right up.

It has a section on the movable feasts, including the Scrutinies, plus a section on Catholic virtues and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

There is a very nice section on Lent/Holy Week/ Divine Mercy, etc.

I love that everything is in chronological order. You know how you scramble around trying to remember and then find the source you like best for a particular saint or feast? This will for sure help alleviate that problem for me.
