Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

While searching for different resources to use with my grade 7 faith formation class, I came across this series of videos from a professor at John Carroll University.

The first one I watched was The Call to Discipleship, which I showed to my class. Since then I have used a few others with my class, plus I have found them to be excellent alongside my Notgrass ancient history program this fall. If I had known about them last year, I would have used them with The Bible Tells Me So as well.

The videos are generally 5-10 minutes and are a bit quirky (which appeals to my sense of humor, but YMMV). They are USCCB approved, but again, you might want to preview them if you are concerned about the Catholic content. I would say they are middle/high school age; younger could definitely watch but might not catch all the vocabulary.
