Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi everyone,

I am researching free family calendars with email reminders. I have heard people mention Cozi? Does anyone use one that they can recommend?

What I want to do is to set up appointments, classes, soccer games, etc for each family member - and then have that sent out to everyone's emails. Not sure there is anything that can do this?

Thanks,

Marilyn

We love the free version of cozi. Have been using it for years now.

Yes! It's different than I was used to but when google said they were going to stop text message reminders, I took the plunge and converted my brain over to Cozi. I'm really liking it! AND just so you know.. there's a really cool thing in "Meals".. you can save recipes from anywhere online but also add your own recipes.

Oh and I first heard about Cozi here and it was those glowing reports that had me try it out.

Yes. You can do cozi from desktop or any device. Everyone in my family is connected to it, so everyone can see our most current calendar.

So when dh wants to schedule a business dinner and take me along - he can see when it works best and add it in.

Same goes for the grown kids and the teens. All their work and college schedules and dr apps and so forth.

And it's all color coded to each family member and the notification reminders are sent only to the person who needs it.

Love it. Best app ever. And I use the FREE version.

Martha

Can more than one person enter data? For example can dh and adult children enter their important dates themselves from their own devices?

Right. Everyone can enter and edit data and it auto updates so that the new info shows up for everyone to see. (Everyone with password access to the account anyways.)

My twins just set us up on a family calendar, and downloaded apps to tablets. It looks really cool. My only fear is privacy - do they send spam emails?

I want to go in and check out the shopping list feature - everyone wants to add things and this will be a help.

We use Cozi and the shopping list is great. A friend said she was shopping at Walmart with her husband and had to stop and deal with the baby she watched the shopping list and knew exactly where to find her husband -Annie

I don't think I have ever gotten an email from cozi. You can set up your account preferences. I have the free version so when I first open it or right after checking something I might get a pop up ad for Heinz or pine sol or some such thing, but nothing offensive.

Thank you. I have been using Cozi for a few days and LOVE it. I also did set up email reminders which are a real help to everyone. I feel so 21st century
