Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have always enjoyed (and leaned heavily on) Cathy Duffy's reviews, but I did not realize until reading some old threads here that she is Catholic (raised Catholic, left the church for 20 plus years, then returned).

That just tickled me .... I always did wonder why she likes a lot of the Catholic curricula so much.

I always just assumed she was from the way she reviewed Catholic things. I did not know her story as a revert, though.

At the risk of being ridiculous, I will share this HomeschoolingFriends gif Meme that made me giggle. The one that made me laugh the most was about Cathy Duffy. I can't share the image because it is too big, but the jist of it is, "When I decide to order a curriculum that hasn't been reviewed by Cathy Duffy...I AM A LONE WOLF."
