Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I wanted to ask if any of you were familiar with hybrid academies. At our last homeschooling meeting, someone from the school brought some material for us to look at, and it has caught my interest.

Twice a week, your kids would basically attend a classical Catholic school along with other homeschoolers. There are teachers and tutors in the school and they use the classical education model with Mother of Divine Grace curriculum. The other three weekdays, you educate your kids at home.

For the past 5 years my kids have used a mix of Seton and CHC books. Do you think perhaps Mother of Divine Grace will be too big of a change? What do you all think about this program in general?

There is no guarantee this program will open for the 2015-2016 year in my area. They need a minimum of 20 families enrolled for them to open a satellite campus and she said so far they have 12.
