Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My family has had great success with SAxon math, but also has had problems with kids complaining about how long it takes to do the problem sets.

Sometimes it seems to me the kids get intimidated by seeing 30 problems.

What I've found helps is to sit down with them and you do the lesson also. ( You and your child each do the lesson) This will help you gauge what is a reasonable amount of time to get the work done.

Once one of my kids was complaining that SAxon Physics lessons took "3 hours". Well when we sat down together and each did the lesson it only took 45 minutes. Then once she realized she really could do it in 45 minutes she was able to get the work done more quickly.
