Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My usual source which has never failed me is Catholic Calendar showed March 18, but other sources are saying Mar. 20. I remember MicheleQ saying something when she was calendar planning about the uniqueness of the date this year, moving it back instead of forward, but I could be all wrong!

I just saw this. I am really frustrated because my usual source is also the Catholic Calendar page and they list it as being on the 18th, but the USCCB lists it as the 20th and I do think that is correct. To all of you who bought my planner this year please accept my apologies for listing it incorrectly. When you are working as far in advance as we do with dates it can be difficult to find sources. The USCCB site only goes a few months ahead so I can't check it there until it's too late.

Again, I'm very sorry.

I'm so glad I wasn't imagining things!! It makes me feel better that you are using (or USED) the same site. Of course, now no longer! Have you tried Romcal?

Thanks for the link. It looks good for the feast days but I still need to use the other site for the readings as no one else has them as far in advance as I need them. I have to cut and paste them all but at least that's better than typing them all in by hand (though it's still very time consuming). My "dream" is to have a computer program that I can generate a planner with and simply input in the Church year and cycle and have everything in the right place...oh and it would add all the feast days and Saints to the right dates too! OK, like I said, it's a "dream". Hey, maybe one of my kids will get into softare development and create it for me!

God bless!

I've had a similar vision...tell your kids to get to work.

When my dd was in k, her class cut out poster board saws and wrote on them "You are the best dad I ever saw." We hung ours up in dh workroom.

Bumping -- this year Annunciation moves, not St. Joseph.

I know. I don't think I ever noticed this growing up. It's been really interesting to see the movement these past seversl year as the dates have fallen such that there is a lot of movement. We just got invited today to a big Annunciation party. It's one of the days that the Eastern Catholics break the "great fast" and some seminarian friends of ours follow the "great fast" tradition of the Eastern rites so they make a big deal of the break fast days like the Annuciation. Should be fun.
