Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm starting a thread here for the upcoming canonizations (October 11, 2009) of Bl. Damien of Molokai, Bl. Jeanne Jugan, Bl. Sigmund Felinski, Bl. Francisco Coll, Bl. Rafael Arnaiz Baron

Do you have resources for any of the soon to be saints that you could share?

Do you have any special plans to teach about these saints or to celebrate the canonizations?

Love to hear what is happening in your home.

My 7year old is making his first confession at Marian Valley on the 11th so we will be celebrating that, but I would like to do something for St Damien, a nice craft or recipe idea?
