Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Mimi, that is a great idea. My sister does something similar - each of the family members has a unique glass which they use all day. Since they are all different they can tell them apart easily. Your idea would work much better for us since we don't have enough different glasses (well, I guess we technically do now since two members of our family are not living at home). But I like your idea better - there is no chance of "forgetting" which glass is whose.

Hey - great idea, Mimi!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I also use my labelmaker on things that are hand washed and dishwashed and I have just been so pleased at the durability of the labels. I'm very pleased that I got a labelmaker with laminate tape.

I'm off to label a kitchen tray!

Thought I'd share a hint:   One thing that annoys me about my label maker is it wastes so much tape either side of the word (tape here costs $30!) I had a whole run of words to enter the other day, dh suggested that I space (I ended up using 4 spaces) between words, fitting as many in as I could before I hit print.

This is an excellent hint!!   I do this as well. I try to print long lists all together like you, Erin. When I print, I space 3 times between words. I'm not sure if other label makers do this, but on mine I can manually edit the margins for printing. So I manage the margins and I print long lists all together to save tape. Check your labelmaker to see if you can edit the margins at the end of a string of text.

Also, make sure that the MARGIN SETTING is on CHAIN PRINT, that decreases the amount of tape as well. I wrote to them and told them that CHAIN PRINT should be the DEFAULT setting....as this is the number one complaint about these things in many of the reviews.

Ladies,

Gave up internet for Lent but had to come and make a comment because I got a new label maker today, the p-touch 2030. It is on sale until Saturday at Staples for $19.99 from $49.99

Really great and I wanted something with more options and especially the laminated labels!!!!!

Off to read the handbook:)

Anyone know where to get the best price on the label tape? I have a brother one, got it for cheap, but the refills are pricey.
