The other day I read something that was like an apology to the moderators for how many times the poster had edited a post. I wondered whether the moderators are sent some kind of notification with every version of a post. I tend to edit a lot, for everything from typos to content to rephrasing things, but I've been holding back a bit since I read that, not wanting to add to the moderators' burden over very slight issues with posts!
I just wanted to find out whether this is an actual concern, or will it generally not require extra work for the moderators if I fix little things here and there till I can't find anything else to fix.

No worries! The moderators do not get notifications every time a post is edited! It is not extra work for us.

Wow, what a relief! If you only knew how much I edited, I'd be mortified (maybe a good thing, huh?)

oh I do that too  all the editing.. usually for silly things like my fingers typed the wrong word or letter.. or I left something out.. or things that don't change the content really, just annoy me
