Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I think the tie-dye would be something my girls would love...maybe we'll do it later this summer. ;)

I have to go back through and look more closely at the ideas for more fun learning.

dolorsofmary shared with me some images of a craft she and her 5yo son did inspired by a craft I shared on my blog honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Her goal was to complete the craft without spending any money, using only what she had on hand. I just love her interpretation and her son's work!! Enjoy!

This is dolorsofmary's 5 yo son's work. Lovely! As you can see they completed both the Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart.

...and this is dolorsofmary's own interpretation. I love that they did the craft together!

Their Sacred Heart display for the month.

...and a small tryptich to honor Our Lady.

Great job, dolorsofmary!! Thanks for sharing with us!

Thank you, those are great. I've updated the June listing. I was trying to preview the video and while I think it is quite accurate, just use caution in front of littles. I think sometimes it's eaiser to read these accounts than to hear verbal abuse and visually watch physical abuse. A young child isn't going to completely understand. My little one caught sight of the beating scene and was asking me lots of questions and very concerned.

Your crafts and display are wonderful! Thank you for sharing the pictures!
