Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm at a loss. I thought I had bookmarked a page that helps find art, but can't seem to find it. I thought it was posted here, but no luck.

I use

Art in the Christian Tradition

Web Gallery of Art

Olga's Gallery

Can you share any other search engines or sites you might use, please? I'm particularly looking for a subject index.

Answering my own question, I did find

Biblical Art which has been helpful.

The Johannine Literature Web which has sources of Art related to John's Gospel.

And that lead me to this great list of resources

Jenn, I saw your first question earlier today and was coming back to suggest the http://www.biblical-art.com/ page, wondering if that was the one you were looking for. I see that it was and that you found it. I find that site very useful for all religious art.

That list of resources looks very helpful...

The Biblical Art was very helpful. I was using the sites to find art for Via Lucis and so I had specific images I needed to find. I did find many outdated links on Biblical Art, which was frustrating.

I really love the Art Renewal Museum. They have a very nice search engine. You can search by artist or title.
