Spinning Babies

My midwives are keeping a close eye on my baby's position because about six weeks ago when I had an ultrasound she was literally standing on my cervix. Since then I've been trying to watch my posture, avoid the couch, and doing exercises to hopefully get this one in optimal position.

The Spinning Babies website offers more information and recommendations for helping get your baby in optimal position, avoiding breach and occipital posterior. I should warn you that the website is a little all over the place at least to my sense of organization.

Spinning babies turned 2 of my breeches after 35 weeks! :) The second was even after an external version failed.

I was "doing" Spinning babies stuff for my 2nd who was posterior. But she didn't turn till in labor. It's so good to know all the info though! Next time I'll use better posture etc from mid-preg on to avoid posterior position at all if possible. It would be SO worth it not to have that awful stalling long labor again!!!
