Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Yum!

We had our "big" dinner already since Daddy works the late shift right now. We were doing very well to get to Mass this morning and to keep a regular school schedule today - almost :-)

Happy Feast of St. Joseph and thanks for the reminders!

Oh so sorry to be posting this so late. Here is the altar we did on Monday. St. Joseph Altar

This was our first year, but I think it's a tradition I would like to keep!

Thanks for posting Elena.

Your St. Joseph altar is so straight forward and beautiful. I love your inclusion of St. Gabriel, too. I'm sure your children loved it.

I know that mine would love the fudge and pretzel Crown of Thorns, too! We might try that on Good Friday. We missed our sometimes project of making the tooth pick and dough Crown this year which makes me a bit sad. Our two youngest are 9 and 8 and they're quickly outgrowing these little mementos since their older brothers and sisters are on to bigger and better things. At least the sacrifice chart still has value to most of them in reality, if not on paper....

St. Joseph, pray for us!
