Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Which to-do list?? The things I need to get done in general, the things I need to get done before Christmas, or our list of things I need to do before we go out of town a few days after Christmas? Then, of course, I'm also working on the grocery list for this coming week.

And I'm with Rachel on the getting rid of the sinus headache; I would just have to add getting rid of the sore throat and coughing fits, too.

Ruth, I just put my list up at my blog. I think I really could use one or two more days.

Ruth,
How about Candy Cane icecream?? We are having a bunch of people who have no one to spend Christmas with over to our house for dinner. I am going simple...I bake constantly (I have no littles) but I am not going to do a bunch of baking for Christmas this year. My mother from out of province gave me a tray of baking when she visited a few weeks ago and I popped it in the freezer for Christmas eve.

I have just really been impressed with how we can make Christmas so stressful....

Enjoy your new baby, put your feet up if you can, and realize that our children enjoy us enjoying Christmas- they are not as concerned about the details as we are

God bless you Ruth, and Merry Christmas from the North!

I'm so sorry, Lisa. Yep...your to do list looks a bit different now: Do laundry, laundry, and more laundry...Can you tell this is fresh in my mind? . Praying for you all.

Love,
