Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The 4Real message board is a ministry to serve Catholic parent educators and friends. Our management is loyal to the Roman Pontiff and the bishops in union with him. We state the teachings and guidance of the Church as needed on the board to clarify any faith issues, including Church teachings as they relate to educational philosophies.

We welcome members from different backgrounds and do not require members to adhere to the Catholic Faith. We are simply parent educators who love our Faith and strive to live it. Please speak of our Church with charity and kindness. Although we desire to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Faith every day of our lives, we surely are not experts on Church teaching. We will do our best to be an example of the fullness of our Faith, and if we need words to clarify, we will turn to official Church teachings and authority in order to answer questions from a Catholic perspective.

While this is a Catholic board, please remember that we are a witness to those of other faiths. Please avoid personal or harsh comments about our separated brethren and their religious worldviews.

Our Statement of Faith -- The Nicene Creed

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come.

Amen.
