I writing on behalf of Chemai and asking for prayers for her and baby. Chemai is at 22 weeks and her last baby was born prematurely at 23 weeks and died after a 5 month battle. She has just had an ultrasound that is showing her cervix has shortened and is effacing and birth could be imminent.
She is facing difficult circumstances beyond their control due to her husband being in another city making necessary preparation for his new job and their new home.
She is resting with her mother at present with her mother-in-law taking some of the children to make things more restful and easy as stress and busyness brings on the symptoms of possible early labour.
Could you please keep Chemai in your prayers asking that she not give birth too early? They would be hoping that she could get through to at least 28 weeks but that is 6 weeks away...
They have alot decisions to make and planning to do in regard to where to go for the most effective treatment and help over the next few weeks.
Thank you so much on Chemai's behalf, your prayers have always given her so much comfort and strength!

I have kept her and the baby in prayer and will ask more people for prayers....Annie, I would love to know how to pronounce Chemai correctly.

Gwen, it is pronounced "Chem - may" - yes, the spelling can throw you!
Just updating to say that things seem to be getting worse for Chemai in regard to pressure and physical feelings of imminent labour, the doctor has contacted her and has tried for 6 hours last night to negotiate a hospital in our city (she is 1 and half away from here) and things seem to be difficult so he is saying she needs just to front to one of the hospitals in person. Her husband now is going to fly in, asap.
So extra prayers at this precise moment are valuable!
