Could you ladies please pray for my family? This weekend we are suppose to travel 5 hours to another diocese for my ds confirmation. (long story on that one) However, our 3 year old has some kind of stomach bug. He has a high fever and diarrhea. I hope it doesn't run through the family and especially to ds who is being confirmed. We need prayers for good health. We are rarely sick and I am frustrated. I don't want to miss this special event.

Thanks for the prayers. Unfortunantly, he is not better (although everyone else is healthy). I am staying home with my sick one and my 2 year old. We should know today from lab results what is wrong with him. He has had a fever 6 days and diarrhea for 5 days with blood in it. Dr doesn't seem overly worried, although I am. He thinks it might be bacterial or food poisoning.

The doctor just called and said he has salmonella. I have no idea how he got it. Probably catching too many toads and lizards and then putting his hands in his mouth before washing.

He is up and eating some today. The fever and cramping are gone but he still has a bit of diarrhea. Salmonella is a terrible illness.

On a good note, my oldest ds confirmation was lovely, they told me. They had lots of pictures to show me. Hopefully in the next few days I can post some on my blog. Thanks for all of the prayers. I have been praying for everyone here.
