Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I know CHC offers a Geography book to help learn states, but no where can I find a Catholic way to teach the US Presidents. Does anyone know of one?

Read biographies - then they'll actually remember them. Sorry not much help, I know. There is a deck of cards of the presidents with picture, dates of office and short blurb. We have them, but they don't get used much.

We've been using The Buck Stops Here with a lot of success.

We have this CD from Sing-n-Learn which is great for memorizing the order of the presidents. It's really fun!

We also have this CD for learning the states/captials. Love it!

Yo, Millard Fillmore is a little book that kids can use to learn and memorize the Presidents. It uses mnemonic pictures.

I really can't think of any specific Catholic resources for teaching presidents. Maybe we could brainstorm some resources for that Catholic link.
